Why we exist
Supplement labels in India are hard to trust. Proprietary blends hide quantities behind a single total. CFU counts are measured on the factory floor rather than at the end of shelf life. Protein is routinely spiked with cheap free-form amino acids so the nitrogen test reads higher than the usable protein actually is.
None of that is illegal. All of it is legal because the label technically tells the truth while withholding the number that would let you check it.
Danann Remedies exists to publish those numbers.
Where the name comes from
We are named for the Tuatha De Danann, a race in the old Irish stories remembered for their immunity to age and sickness and for their power to heal. It is a deliberately high bar, and higher than any supplement clears on its own. What we take from it is the ambition to bridge the ancient wisdom of holistic health with modern scientific innovation - which, day to day, means doing the unglamorous half properly.
What we commit to
- Every quantity printed. No proprietary blends. If an ingredient is in the formulation, its amount is on the label.
- Every batch third-party tested. Potency, heavy metals and microbial counts go to an accredited laboratory with no stake in the result.
- Probiotics guaranteed to expiry. A CFU count measured at manufacture tells you nothing about the day you swallow it, so ours is the count at the end of shelf life.
- Full amino acid profiles on protein. The one disclosure that makes nitrogen-based protein claims checkable.
- Vegetarian formulations, stated on the label rather than buried in an FAQ.
- Formulated and manufactured in India, to standards we publish rather than imply.
